CSR now includes disaster relief

Here is an article that appeared today in The Economic Times. It says that disaster relief operations by corporates, will now be considered as part of their mandatory 2% CSR spending. This is a welcome move, because it will act as an incentive to corporates. They would now make higher contributions towards disaster relief to the flood hit state of Kerala.  Furthermore, this will accelerate the process of rebuilding Kerala. Here is the article.
